Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra Launch Nears: Specs, Price, India Release Date

Samsung is all set to introduce its next top-line smartphone, the Galaxy S26 Ultra, as sources in the industry are saying that the launch is going to be around the end of January or the beginning of February 2026. Even though the firm has not announced the date yet, many rumors have already given us the device’s expected specifications and design details.

The S26 Ultra will most probably be the Galaxy S25 Ultra's design remake, but with a sleeker body and slight modifications around the camera. According to the first rumors, Samsung is making a thin body a priority but still keeping a classy appearance.

As for the display, the S26 Ultra will probably come with a giant 6.9-inch OLED screen that allows a 120Hz refresh rate and has a peak brightness of about 3,000 nits. Also, the mobile shall be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, coupled with 12GB RAM and 256GB internal storage. The device could be equipped with a 5,000mAh battery that supports fast charging.

There might be a quad-camera on the back for the camera specification. According to the sources, a 200MP main, a 50MP ultra-wide, a 50MP periscope, and a 10MP telephoto sensor will make up the camera modules. Moreover, the front-facing camera will be a 12MP shooter for selfies and video calls.

In India, the variant with 12GB RAM and 256GB Storage won’t cost less than approximately Rs 1,59,999. The gadget is supposed to be ready for purchase by February 2026, which is right in sync with Samsung's early-year flagship launch cycle.
